Dressed Up to Get Messed Up is a studio album by Roomful of Blues, released in 1984. The album was released on Varrick Records. Greg Piccolo, the band's leader and sax player at the time, wrote seven of the album's ten tracks. The album helped to raise the group's profile, and they were able to tour heavily behind it.

Recorded in studio. Greg Piccolo produced the album, and Roomful of Blues served as executive producer. Bob Bell was the production coordinator, and Gragg Lunsford mixed the album.

Significance
