Robert Fripp's "Glass and Breath" is a minimalist ambient soundscape album released in 2007. It was recorded live at DGM Soundworld on May 4, 2007, and was initially available as a free download from the DGM Live website. The album consists of three lengthy tracks, each approximately 20 minutes long, built around a series of treated, bell-like chimes and quiet electronic filigrees over a light sheen of guitar sustain.
The music on "Glass and Breath" is a departure from Fripp's more symphonic soundscape installations and trademark guitar soloing. Instead, it presents an hour of purely intuitive minimalism, creating a mood-setting backdrop that blends into the environment. Some reviewers have noted its similarity to Brian Eno's ambient works, particularly "Neroli", in its use of space and atmosphere.

Significance
The album is considered an enigmatic experiment in minimalist ambient music, intended for near-subliminal assimilation into the listener's environment. Reviews suggest that active listening can be irritating due to the repetitive nature of the music, but it functions well as background ambience. Some find it reminiscent of Brian Eno's work in the ambient genre.
The album was initially released as a free download and is still available.
