Roomful of Blues released "Roomful of Christmas" in 1997. It is the band's only holiday album and features a collection of R&B Christmas songs. The album includes a mix of familiar and lesser-known tunes done in Roomful of Blues' signature jump blues style.
Recording Info
The album was recorded, engineered, and mixed by Phil Greene at Normandy Sound. It was produced by Carl Querfurth for Q Productions, with Bob Bell and Carl Querfurth as executive producers. Howie Weinberg mastered the album at Masterdisk.

Significance
Roomful of Blues is known for its blend of swing, rock and roll, jump blues, boogie-woogie and soul, earning them five Grammy Award nominations and seven Blues Music Awards. Count Basie called them "the hottest blues band I've ever heard". This album provides a unique collection of R&B Christmas songs.
