The album was recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 29, 2002. Jeff Lynne produced the audio elements of the concert, with mixing by Lynne and Ryan Ulyate, and mastering by Marc Mann. Paul Nickson and Will Shapland were the recording engineers.
