The album "White White White" is the first full-length album by Poet-type.M, a solo project by Kadota Masayasu, who is also known from the bands Burger Nuds and Good Dog Happy Men. The album was released on October 2, 2013. Kadota aimed to translate the fleeting beauty of everyday sensations and scenes into music, creating "pure, correct, and beautiful" rock songs. The album consists of nine tracks.
The songs on "White White White" reflect a sense of purity and innocence. Kadota describes the album's title as representing "kiyoku, tadashiku, utsukushiku," which translates to "purely, correctly, beautifully". The album is described as a new masterpiece that marks the end of a long prologue, returning to the origin of translating beauty.
Recording Info
The album was recorded with drummer Mizuno Masaaki and guitarist Narahara Eisuke, who were given only acoustic demos before recording. Kadota felt that he could only approach the songs with those two and that the songs wouldn't have been possible without them.
